Appointments
Ayurvedic treatment consists of an initial consultation, a report of findings, and regular follow-up visits to check on the patient's progress.
The first visit is the consultation consisting of a series of questions regarding the functioning of the patient’s system. This information is useful in determining who the patient is physically, emotionally, and spiritually. After the initial consultation, a report of findings and the best plan for treatment are explained to the patient at the next visit. Suggested treatment may involve dietary suggestions, the intake of an herbal formula, or lifestyle changes. Follow-up sessions should initially be scheduled approximately one week apart to see how the patient is progressing in achieving his or her health goals and to make any adjustments to diet, lifestyle, and/or herbal formulas, if necessary. Subsequent appointments may be scheduled as necessary. The patient should be consistent in maintaining the appointments so that he or she can see the progress and results of the ayurvedic treatment.
After you schedule your first appointment you will be emailed a form to fill out. Please fill out the form completely and return it at least 24 hours prior to your initial appointment. The form will allow the practitioner-intern to gain a greater understanding about the patient and will guide the treatment.
Time & Cost
The initial appointment will last approximately 2 hours and will be $150.
Subsequent appointments will last approximately 1 hour and will be $100.
The patient will also be responsible for the cost of any herbal formulas that are prescribed.
At this time Tulsi Ayurveda is unable to take insurance. Payment must be made at the time of appointment by either check or cash.
